Manufacturing  -  Sep 10,2025  -

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin recently laid the foundation stone for a new Printed Circuit Board (PCB) plant by Amber Group's subsidiary, Ascent Circuits.

The facility is located in the ELCOT Special Economic Zone in Hosur, a key industrial hub in the state.

This project is part of a larger strategic investment by Amber Enterprises, which plans to invest a total of Rs 4,200 crore in PCB manufacturing across India.

The Hosur plant, specifically under Ascent Circuits, represents an investment of Rs 990 crore and will specialize in the production of multi-layer PCBs.

This type of technology is critical for a wide range of modern electronic devices, from consumer durables and automotive electronics to telecom and defense applications.

The investment, which was announced in 2024, underscores Tamil Nadu's growing appeal as a preferred destination for high-tech manufacturing.

The new facility is expected to create a significant number of job opportunities and further strengthen the state's position in the global electronics value chain
