Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has been allotted 6,000 acres in Andhra Pradesh for a new refinery project with an estimated investment of Rs 96,000 crore. 

The refinery will include downstream petrochemical facilities, crude processing, and integrated fuel production.

The project represents one of India’s largest industrial investments and is expected to enhance energy security, generate employment, and support regional industrialization. 

It also aligns with BPCL’s strategy to expand refining and petrochemical capacities while meeting growing domestic and export demand for petroleum products.
