Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects worth nearly Rs 4 lakh crore in Jaipur, marking one of Rajasthan’s largest-ever investment drives. 

The projects stem from agreements signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 and span sectors such as infrastructure, energy, housing, and social welfare.

Alongside the investment announcements, the minister also launched and inaugurated schemes totaling over Rs 9,300 crore, including welfare initiatives in education, rural electrification, and housing. 

The event underscored the government’s focus on accelerating project implementation and attracting private investment into Rajasthan’s industrial corridors.

Industry observers note that the move aligns with India’s broader infrastructure expansion agenda under the Gati Shakti program, aimed at improving connectivity and logistics efficiency across states.
