BirlaNu will establish a fibre-cement board manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh with an estimated investment of Rs. 127 crore, targeting growing construction and renovation demand for durable, fire-resistant building materials. 

The plant is expected to support regional supply to southern markets while helping the company expand its product reach into commercial and residential construction segments where demand for low-maintenance cladding and boards is rising. 

The project aligns with steady growth in India’s building materials market and state efforts to attract industrial investment that supports local employment and construction supply chains. 

The investment also signals continued private sector interest in mid-sized manufacturing projects that serve both urban infrastructure and affordable housing segments.
