Bids invited for bridges for fourth rail line in Chhattisgarh

The South East Central Railway has invited bids for the construction of key bridges for the fourth rail line on the Durg–Rajnandgaon section in Chhattisgarh. 

The project, which also includes a section from Sarona to Bhilai, has an estimated cost of Rs126.65 crore and is a crucial step to reduce congestion and improve the efficiency of both freight and passenger rail services in the region. 

The project is being implemented on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, and its completion is expected to significantly enhance the capacity of this vital rail corridor.
