Hindalco Industries has announced a massive global investment plan of $10 billion by fiscal year 2030 to expand its value chain in aluminum, copper, and specialty alumina. 

The investment will be made across its Indian operations and its US-based subsidiary, Novelis. 

The company has already initiated projects worth ₹18,000 crore in India this fiscal year. 

Key projects include a 300,000-tonne smelter expansion at Dahej, which will make it the largest copper smelting complex outside of China. 

This investment strategy focuses on both upstream and downstream businesses to reinforce Hindalco's position as a global leader in the metals industry.
