NTPC Green Energy Limited has invited bids to develop a 132/33 kV Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation — including 2×80 MVA 132/33 kV transformers and associated switchgear — to supply power to the Pudimadaka Green Hydrogen Hub in Andhra Pradesh. 

The turnkey contract covers design, supply, civil works, commissioning and five years of O&M, and is key to ensuring reliable, high-quality power for electrolysers and hydrogen production units. 

The tender’s technical scope and short completion window underline the infrastructure scale needed to support green hydrogen hubs and linked renewable parks. 

Successful execution will be essential to operationalising electrolyser capacity and enabling downstream hydrogen offtake agreements.
