Bajel Projects to inject Rs 170 crore to triple galvanisation capacity

Infrastructure  -  Jul 09,2025  -

Bajel Projects Limited, a prominent player in India's power infrastructure sector, has announced a significant investment of Rs 170 crore to substantially expand its galvanisation capacity.

This strategic move aims to nearly triple the company's output at its Ranjangaon facility in Maharashtra, bolstering its ability to meet surging demand from both internal projects and external clientele.

The planned expansion will see Bajel Projects' galvanisation capacity grow from the current 40,500 tonnes per annum (TPA) to an impressive 110,000 TPA by the end of fiscal year 2027 (FY27).

This ambitious undertaking will be executed in phases, commencing from Q4 FY26 and culminating in Q4 FY27. The investment will be funded through a combination of internal accruals and debt, reflecting the company's confidence in the project's long-term returns.

The decision to expand comes as the Ranjangaon facility is currently operating at a high utilisation rate of approximately 98 percent.

This near-maximum capacity highlights the urgent need for additional production to cater to growing market demand and to support Bajel Projects' own expanding portfolio of power transmission and distribution projects.
