Ashirvad (Aliaxis) to invest ~Rs. 400 crore in Hyderabad manufacturing facility

Manufacturing  -  Nov 21,2025  -

Ashirvad Pipes (part of Belgian group Aliaxis) has announced a major greenfield investment of approximately Rs. 400 crore to build a manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, part of a larger capex plan to significantly scale up its India operations by FY 2027.

According to the company, the Hyderabad facility is expected to go live by FY 2026 and will be one of two new plants — the other being in Chennai — intended to boost total capacity from 3 lakh tonnes to 4 lakh tonnes per year.

The project underscores Aliaxis’ long-term “Growth with Purpose” strategy in India, aimed at strengthening its leadership in the organised plastic-piping market — especially in infrastructure, water management, and industrial plumbing segments.

With rising demand for CPVC, PVC, and UPVC piping systems, Ashirvad plans to capitalize on both infrastructure growth and increasing household plumbing penetration.
