Andhra Pradesh inks Rs. 15,000 crore data-centre deal with Tillman Global

Infrastructure  -  Nov 13,2025  -

The government of Andhra Pradesh, through the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tillman Global Holdings to develop a 300 MW hyperscale data-centre campus in Visakhapatnam at an investment of approximately Rs. 15,000 crore.

The facility is planned over roughly 40 acres and is expected to generate 200–300 direct jobs and 800–1,000 indirect jobs by 2028.

Under the agreement, Tillman Global will bring investment, technology, design and critical equipment, while the state government will facilitate land allocation, incentives and coordination through APEDB.

The MoU establishes a time-bound development framework, with the campus targeted for rapid execution.

The project plays into Andhra Pradesh’s strategic push to become a digital-infrastructure hub along India’s east coast, leveraging its ports, connectivity and supportive investor policies.

The state recently attracted a major global AI-hub commitment and this data-centre deal strengthens its credentials in cloud, edge-compute and hyperscale infrastructure.
