ZF Group is expanding its local manufacturing footprint for construction-equipment driveline and intelligent systems, showcasing new India-made solutions at EXCON 2025 and signalling deeper localisation of supply chains. 

The move includes plans to scale production of transmissions, axles and electronic control modules at its Indian facilities to support OEM demand and after-sales growth. 

ZF says the expansion will shorten lead times for domestic construction-vehicle customers and strengthen its service network across major infrastructure projects. 

The localisation push aligns with rising demand from the infrastructure sector and is intended to reduce import dependence for critical components.
