Minda Corporation has been allotted a 23-acre plot by YEIDA to build a new wiring-harness and connectivity-systems manufacturing unit, part of a wider investment push to expand capacity near the Yamuna Expressway. 

The project is expected to carry a multi-hundred-crore capex and will produce wiring harnesses at scale, supporting both passenger and commercial vehicle programmes. 

Officials say the plant will benefit from state incentives and create substantial direct and indirect jobs while strengthening Minda’s localisation roadmap for global OEM customers. 

The facility will add to the group’s existing network of plants and help meet growing domestic and export demand for electronic and connectivity systems.
