Welspun Enterprises Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 3,145 crore water infrastructure project awarded by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). 

The project involves the design, construction, and long-term maintenance of a 910 MLD water treatment facility at Panjrapur, Maharashtra.

The contract will be executed over four years, followed by 15 years of operation and maintenance. Once completed, the project will significantly enhance Mumbai’s water supply network and improve quality standards for urban drinking water.

Welspun Enterprises has been actively diversifying into urban infrastructure, road, and water projects, maintaining a strong order book exceeding Rs 10,000 crore.
