The V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority has floated a tender for a 2 MW green hydrogen project along with a hydrogen refuelling station.

The project will include installation of an electrolyser and associated infrastructure for hydrogen production and storage.

Officials said the initiative aims to promote green fuel adoption in port operations and logistics.

The project will also serve as a pilot for hydrogen use in maritime and transport applications.

Bidding will proceed under the port authority’s procurement framework.
