Vikram Solar secures 150 MW Module supply contract in Maharashtra

Vikram Solar has announced that it has received a contract to supply 150 MW of solar modules to Maharashtra State Power Generation Co Ltd.

In a statement, the solar PV module manufacturer indicated that it has been awarded an order for a significant renewable power project of 150 MW from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co Ltd (MAHAGENCO), a government of Maharashtra undertaking.

The company will provide 150 MW of its advanced N-Type Modules.

The modules are to be supplied in the districts of Jalgaon and Solapur in the state of Maharashtra to MAHAGENCO under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) project 2.0.

The order reinforces the Kolkata-headquartered company's standing as one of the premier names on India's Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), the statement said.
