Uttarakhand has floated tenders to set up two battery energy storage system projects of 15 MW and 37.5 MWh each.

The projects are planned as grid-scale energy storage facilities.

They aim to support renewable energy integration and grid stability. The tenders cover engineering, procurement, and construction scope.

Project awards will follow the competitive bidding process.
