NTPC targets 30 GW nuclear power capacity by 2047

NTPC has outlined plans to target 30 GW of nuclear power capacity by 2047.

The target forms part of India’s long-term clean energy transition strategy. NTPC is evaluating potential sites and technology options.

Nuclear capacity is expected to complement renewable and thermal generation. The plan is subject to government approvals and partnerships.
