Two companies from the UAE, Shaiva Group and Taranis Capital, have committed to investing Rs 2,125 crore in Telangana, the state government announced.
State Minister for IT and Industries D Sridhar Babu said that the two firms signed agreements with five companies based in Telangana.  
The two UAE companies will invest Rs 1,360 crore in Revelations Biotech, Rs 340 crore in Manakin Bio, Rs 80 crore in Svobodha Infinity Investment Advisors, Rs 90 crore in Exigent Drilling Technology Pvt. Ltd., and Rs 255 crore in Yentra Tech Controls, according to an official statement.

This partnership is expected to create jobs for 5,020 young people in the state.

"In just the last 18 months, we have filled over 60,000 government jobs and brought in investments exceeding Rs 3 lakh crore. This has led to the creation of over one lakh private sector jobs for our youth. Today marks another big step forward on this journey," an official statement quoted Sridhar Babu as saying.
