Suzlon, Integrum Energy secures contract for 50 MW wind farm from BPCL

Petroleum  -  May 09,2025  -

Suzlon Energy has secured a contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) for a 50 MW wind farm project in Madhya Pradesh.

The second 50 MW project in Maharashtra has been awarded to Integrum Energy Infrastructure.

These projects are expected to meet the captive power requirements of BPCL’s Bina and Mumbai refineries, reinforcing the shift to clean, renewable sources.

These form part of BPCL’s comprehensive renewable energy roadmap, which aims to establish a 10 GW clean energy portfolio by 2040.

The company reiterated its commitment to becoming a “Net Zero Energy Company in Scope 1 & Scope 2 emissions by 2040,” indicating a structured pivot toward sustainability.

Suzlon Energy has maintained a strong order book, reporting a 5,622 MW capacity as of 28 March, 2025, including Q4/FY25 dispatches. This recent BPCL win adds to its already robust performance in the sector.
