SLMG Beverages has commissioned what it describes as South Asia’s largest Coca-Cola bottling facility in Buxar, Bihar. The greenfield unit has been developed with a substantial capital outlay and significantly expands beverage production capacity in eastern India.

The plant will manufacture a range of Coca-Cola portfolio products and is equipped with high-speed production lines and automated packaging systems. Company officials said the facility is expected to cater to growing demand across Bihar and neighbouring states.

The commissioning marks a major milestone in Coca-Cola’s bottling network expansion and is projected to generate large-scale direct and indirect employment in the region.
