Six investment proposals for Chhattisgarh during Japan-Korea visit

Manufacturing  -  Sep 01,2025  -

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced that the state has received six investment proposals during his recent visit to Japan and South Korea, underscoring the global investor interest in India’s emerging industrial hubs.

The proposals cover advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, information technology, and industrial technology collaboration.

While the names of investors have not been officially disclosed, officials indicated that Japanese and Korean companies are keen to set up manufacturing bases in Chhattisgarh, attracted by its abundant mineral resources, improving infrastructure, and business-friendly policies.

Sai said, “Chhattisgarh is no longer seen only as a resource-rich state. We are building an ecosystem for advanced industries, renewables, and technology-driven investments. The discussions in Tokyo and Seoul will translate into job creation and stronger international partnerships.”

The state government has been aggressively pitching its Industrial Policy 2022–27, which offers incentives such as land at concessional rates, power subsidies, and fast-track clearances.
