Infrastructure  -  Sep 01,2025  -

Maharashtra’s Nashik district has bagged two mega industrial projects worth Rs 5,561 crore, bolstering the state’s status as one of India’s top investment destinations.

The announcements were made under the state’s Magnetic Maharashtra 2.0 initiative, which seeks to attract large-scale investments across sectors.

The projects include one in the engineering and auto component sector and another in agro-processing.

Both projects are expected to generate more than 5,000 direct jobs and many more indirect employment opportunities. Officials said land allocation and approvals have already been fast-tracked to ensure speedy implementation.

State Industries Minister Uday Samant said, “Maharashtra continues to lead in industrial investments, and Nashik is emerging as a preferred destination because of its strong industrial ecosystem, availability of skilled manpower, and supportive infrastructure.”
