Manufacturing  -  Mar 29,2024  -

Sintex-BAPL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Welspun Group, announced that it has finalised an estimated investment of Rs 2,355 Crore for setting up manufacturing units.

The company, through its step-down subsidiary Sintex Advance (SAPC), will develop these projects in Telangana, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Sintex BAPL will invest in the manufacturing units over two years from FY25-FY26. It will be funded through a mix of debt and equity.

The proposed project aligns with Welspun’s plans to leverage the brand and enter various types of plastic pipes segment.

The market size of Plastic Pipes used for buildings and infrastructure in India will likely reach nearly Rs 65,000 Crore in 2030.
