Shree Gautam Construction Company has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for constructing an elevated corridor on National Highway 306 in Silchar, Assam. 

The contract, valued at approximately Rs 382 crore, involves designing and building a 2.7-kilometre four-lane flyover through one of Silchar’s busiest stretches.

The project is expected to be completed within 30 months from the date of commencement. 

Once operational, it will significantly decongest urban traffic, improve connectivity and enhance road safety in the region.

The development also represents a boost to infrastructure investment in Assam’s Barak Valley, complementing ongoing highway upgrades across the Northeast.
