Sanathan Textiles aims to witness strong growth in FY26

Textiles  -  Jul 14,2025  -

Sanathan Textiles is gearing up for a period of robust growth in Fiscal Year 2026, primarily driven by the anticipated commissioning of its significant greenfield plant in Punjab.

This ambitious project, involving an investment of approximately Rs 2,100 crore, is set to substantially boost the company's production capabilities and strengthen its market position.

The new facility, spread over an expansive 80 acres with more than 23 lakh sq. ft. of built-up area, is dedicated entirely to the production of polyester filament yarns.

The first phase of commercial operations is expected to commence within the next three to four weeks, marking a crucial milestone for the company. This strategic expansion is designed to nearly triple Sanathan Textiles' polyester filament yarn manufacturing capacity from its current 550 tons per day to an impressive 1,500 tons per day in a phased manner.

The first phase alone is projected to contribute approximately 250,000 tonnes annually, with the second phase further ramping up production to 355,000 tonnes per year.

The location of the plant in Wazirabad, Punjab, is particularly strategic. It offers proximity to major textile hubs in North India, including Ludhiana, Panipat, and Amritsar, which currently account for a significant portion of the company's domestic demand.
