A helicopter manufacturing facility with an estimated investment of Rs. 4,250 crore has been proposed in Nanded, Maharashtra.

The project is expected to boost aerospace manufacturing capabilities in the region.

Officials said the plant will focus on helicopter production and related aviation technologies.

The investment is projected to generate employment and attract ancillary aerospace industries.

The development will proceed following approvals and infrastructure planning.
