Hirose Electric will establish its first manufacturing facility in India with an investment of about Rs. 100 crore in Tamil Nadu.

The plant will manufacture connectors and electronic components used in automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics sectors.

Officials said the investment highlights growing interest among global electronics companies in India’s manufacturing ecosystem.

The project will support localisation of electronics component production.

Development will proceed following land allocation and statutory approvals.
