ROHM Semiconductor and Tata Electronics have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating semiconductor manufacturing capabilities in India, with a focus on advanced packaging, testing, and component localisation. 

The collaboration aligns with India’s long-term semiconductor mission and supports the country’s ambition to reduce import dependence in critical electronics and automotive supply chains. 

Both companies are expected to leverage ROHM’s technology leadership and Tata’s large-scale manufacturing ecosystem to build globally competitive facilities. 

The alliance also strengthens India’s position in the global semiconductor value chain at a time of rising geopolitical and supply chain realignments.
