The Andhra Pradesh government has approved proposals for renewable energy projects worth Rs 25,000 crore across multiple districts. 

The projects, backed by leading private developers, will include large-scale solar and wind power plants with combined generation capacities exceeding several gigawatts.

The investments are expected to boost clean energy output, strengthen grid stability, and generate thousands of jobs in the state’s energy sector. 

These initiatives are part of Andhra Pradesh’s broader push to become a renewable energy hub, capitalising on its favourable geography and natural resources. 

The state aims to enhance its role in India’s transition toward sustainable and green power systems.
