Chemicals  -  Oct 18,2025  -

GHCL Limited has received the necessary land and environmental clearances for its Rs 6,500 crore soda ash manufacturing project.

The company plans to start construction within the next six to seven months.

The upcoming facility will be one of the largest of its kind in India, aimed at meeting the growing domestic demand for soda ash in glass, detergent, and chemical industries.

The new plant will incorporate modern, energy-efficient production technologies and sustainable water management systems.

This expansion marks GHCL’s strategic move to enhance capacity, strengthen import substitution, and maintain leadership in the Indian inorganic chemicals market.
