US-based Red Dot Corporation has joined hands with India’s Millennium Aero Dynamics to establish a manufacturing base for mobile HVAC systems in South Asia. 

The collaboration will cater to off-highway vehicles, defence, and aerospace applications, enhancing domestic manufacturing in high-performance climate-control systems.
The partnership combines Red Dot’s product design expertise with Millennium Aero’s strong supply-chain and engineering presence in India. The facility will initially serve OEMs in the defence and aviation sectors, with plans to expand into construction and mining vehicles.

India’s growing focus on defence indigenization under the “Make in India” initiative has attracted several high-tech collaborations in recent years. This venture marks an important addition to the country’s advanced manufacturing landscape.

By setting up local production, Red Dot aims to reduce import dependence and strengthen after-sales support for Indian and regional customers. The move is also expected to open export opportunities for HVAC systems designed in India.
