The Rajasthan government has approved a Rs. 150 crore guava processing plant in Sawai Madhopur district.
The facility will focus on value-added processing of guava, addressing post-harvest losses faced by farmers.

Officials said the project aims to stabilise prices and improve farmer incomes through organised processing.
The plant will include modern storage, grading, and packaging infrastructure.

It forms part of the state’s broader push to attract food processing investments.
