Purba Bharati Gas (PBGPL) has invited bids for pipeline laying works for city gas distribution (CGD) project under GA 9.03 in Kamrup district of Assam.

The last date for submission of bids is 12 June, 2025.

The scope of work broadly includes the installations of GI pipes and laying of underground PE pipelines, 150 km in length in Hajo, Suwalkuchi and Rangia towns, and work is scheduled to be completed within 12 months.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorised PBGPL to carry out city gas distribution business in Kamrup and Kamrup Metropolitan districts (GA- 9.03) and Cachar, Hailakandi and Karimganj districts (GA 9.02) in Assam under ninth round of CGD bidding.

PBGPL is committed to build a network of pipelines and other infrastructure to provide compressed natural gas (CNG) for auto segment and piped natural gas (PNG) for domestic, industrial and commercial customers.
