Oiles Corporation builds second manufacturing plant in India

Automotive Industries  -  Jun 02,2025  -

Oiles Corporation is building a second manufacturing plant in India, specifically in Neemrana, Rajasthan.

The project involves an investment of approximately INR 3.3 billion (about JPY 5.5 billion) and is scheduled to begin construction in June 2025, with operations expected to start in February 2027.

The new plant will be located within the same industrial estate as the existing facility.

It will cover a site area of around 52,000 square meters, with a building area of about 26,000 square meters—roughly 2.8 times the size of the first plant.

According to the company, the expansion is part of its medium- to long-term growth strategy aimed at increasing production capacity and catering to demand in India’s automotive sector, including components for electric vehicles.

The company aims to further strengthen its specification activities targeting non-Japanese manufacturers in the Indian market, which is expected to continue experiencing high growth.
