Aerolloy Technologies, a subsidiary of PTC Industries, has commissioned a Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR) 400 Furnace at its plant in the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, Lucknow. 

This state-of-the-art furnace will enable the company to produce some of the largest titanium castings globally, a capability held by only a few firms worldwide. 

The castings are crucial for next-generation aerospace and defense applications, including civil and military aero-engines and strategic space platforms. 

This move is a major step toward strengthening India's aerospace supply chain and reducing reliance on imported critical components.
