Praneetha EcoCables has announced plans to establish a new manufacturing facility for pure copper cables in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. 

The move is aimed at meeting rising demand in India’s power and telecommunications sectors.

The new plant will emphasize high-purity copper conductors, catering to power transmission, telecom, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and wiring segments. 

The decision to locate in Ahmedabad leverages Gujarat’s industrial ecosystem, efficient logistics, and investment-friendly policies.

This expansion is part of the larger trend of localization in critical electrical and electronic components, reducing reliance on imports, improving domestic supply chains, and enabling greater quality control. 

The plant is expected to drive employment and create upstream linkages in raw material supply, testing, and packaging.
