Power Mech Projects has significantly strengthened its order book by securing two major operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts totaling Rs 551.35 crore. 

These new projects, awarded by SJVN Thermal (P) Ltd. and Jhabua Power Ltd., underscore PMPL's continued dominance and expertise in the thermal power segment.

The larger of the two contracts, valued at Rs 498.39 crore (excluding taxes, duties, and levies), has been awarded by SJVN Thermal (P) Ltd. for their ambitious 2x660 MW coal-based supercritical Buxar Thermal Power Project. Located at Chausa in the Buxar district of Bihar, this critical project aims to significantly enhance Bihar's power generation capacity. 

Power Mech Projects' scope of work encompasses comprehensive commissioning support and long-term operation and maintenance services for a period of 39 months. 

The second order, worth Rs 52.96 crore comes from Jhabua Power Ltd., a joint venture with NTPC Ltd. 

This contract focuses on the operation and maintenance of the boiler, turbine, and generator (BTG) for a 1x600 MW unit at Jhabua Power's plant in Barela village, Seoni district, Madhya Pradesh.
