Punjab National Bank (PNB) has formalized its commitment to Rajasthan's economic progress by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a Rs 21,000 crore financial support package under the state's 'Rising Rajasthan' initiative. 

The MoU was signed on September 6, 2025, with a focus on leveraging the bank's extensive network and digital platforms.

A key focus of this partnership is to empower women entrepreneurs and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). PNB's MD & CEO, Ashok Chandra, distributed 2,000 loan sanction letters to women entrepreneurs at a special event in Jaipur, highlighting the bank's commitment to financial inclusion. 

The initiative will utilize digital solutions to ensure easier access to various government schemes and banking services, driving socio-economic development across the state.
