Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Rs. 1,500 crore greenfield airport project in Kota, Rajasthan, aimed at strengthening regional connectivity and boosting economic growth in the state.

The airport will provide air connectivity to Kota, a major education hub that attracts thousands of students annually.

Officials said the project will improve travel convenience for residents, students, and businesses while supporting tourism in the Hadoti region.

The development is expected to stimulate investment and job creation in the surrounding areas.

The airport will be developed with modern passenger facilities and aviation infrastructure.
