The Odisha government has approved 18 new investment proposals worth a total of Rs 4,515 crore, which will create over 8,200 jobs.

These projects, cleared by the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority, will be spread across eight districts of the state. 

The investments are highly diversified, covering key sectors such as green energy (including a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) plant and a Green Hydrogen unit), waste management, pharmaceuticals, and steel. 

These approvals highlight Odisha's proactive approach to attracting a broad range of industries and accelerating economic development.
