Odisha Cabinet has approved additional incentives for an aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at Bhubaneswar's Biju Patnaik International Airport. 

The project, being set up by Air Works India (Engineering) Pvt Ltd, will receive an additional 20% capital investment subsidy, bringing the total subsidy to 50%. 

The government will also cover the rental costs for two years and the ESI/EPF contributions for the facility's employees. 

This initiative, part of the state's MAAN (Building and Management of Aviation Assets and Network) scheme, aims to capitalize on India's burgeoning aviation sector and reduce the country's reliance on foreign MRO services.
