NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (a step-down subsidiary of NTPC) has declared 75.5 MW of its 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat commercially operational from 00:00 hrs on 19 November 2025.

With this commissioning, NTPC Green Energy Ltd (its parent) has raised its installed capacity to 7,639.075 MW.

The project is being developed under the Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme — Phase II, Tranche III — which supports grid-connected solar plants.

This step strengthens NTPC’s clean-energy portfolio and aligns with its long-term strategy to scale renewable generation capacity rapidly.
