NTPC has commissioned an additional 38 MW of commercial solar capacity at the Khavda solar project in Gujarat, bringing further incremental generation online as the utility expands its renewable footprint. 

The newly commissioned block is part of NTPC’s broader strategy to scale utility-scale solar at sites with strong irradiation and grid access. 

The additional capacity will help the company meet contracted supply obligations and support state and national renewable targets.
