Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has set a firm two-year timeline for completing the new buildings of the Osmania General Hospital complex, part of a broader upgrade aimed at modernising one of the state’s oldest tertiary-care institutions. 

The deadline includes construction of clinical blocks, diagnostic facilities and patient-care infrastructure, with government sources stressing that fast-tracked approvals and dedicated funding will be used to meet the target. 

Health officials expect the revamped complex to expand bed capacity, reduce congestion and raise the standard of tertiary medical services available to Hyderabad and surrounding districts.
