Samvardhana Motherson International has secured incentives under the government’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for electronics components manufacturing. 

The approval strengthens the group’s diversification into high-growth electronics, EVs, and digital systems. 

PLI benefits are expected to enhance return metrics and support faster localisation of advanced components. 

The move aligns with rising demand from consumer electronics and automotive OEMs. 

It also positions Motherson to tap export opportunities as global supply chains diversify away from China.
