Mother Dairy to set up new unit in Jamalpur, Punjab

Mother Dairy, a leading Indian dairy company, is set to establish a new unit on 15.3 acres of land in the Jamalpur Industrial Area of Ludhiana, Punjab. 

This strategic investment is aimed at strengthening the company's production and distribution network in northern India, meeting the growing demand for its dairy products. 

The new facility is expected to enhance Mother Dairy's operational efficiency and contribute to the economic development of the region.

While there are no specific details available for the Jamalpur plant's investment or capacity, the company has announced similar major projects in other parts of India.

For instance, Mother Dairy is investing over Rs 500 crore in a new milk and dairy processing plant in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and another Rs 600 crore on two fruit and vegetable processing plants in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.
