The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has kicked off Package I of the PM Mitra Park in Dhar district, setting the stage for one of India’s most ambitious integrated textile and apparel manufacturing zones. 

Developed under the Centre’s PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (Mitra) scheme, the project aims to boost India’s textile exports and strengthen domestic value chains.

Spread over several hundred acres, the park will include integrated facilities for spinning, weaving, dyeing, and garment production, alongside common effluent-treatment systems and logistics hubs. 

It is designed to attract global investors and leading textile players seeking sustainable, end-to-end manufacturing ecosystems.
For Madhya Pradesh, Dhar’s selection underscores its growing reputation as a textile destination, complementing existing clusters in Indore and Bhopal. The park is expected to create thousands of direct and indirect jobs while promoting environmentally responsible production practices.
