Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a license agreement for a new property in Valsad, Gujarat, accelerating its growth in a state that already plays a key role in its expansion strategy. 

The upcoming hotel, to be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels), is scheduled to begin operations in FY 2029.

The Valsad property will feature 46 well-appointed rooms, two restaurants, a banquet hall, a meeting room, a swimming pool, a spa, and other public areas. 

The location offers strategic advantages: Valsad Railway Station lies just about five kilometres away, and the nearest major airport—Surat International—is approximately 99 kilometres distant. 

The site is well connected by road to major cities such as Surat, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai, facilitating both business and leisure travel.

Valsad itself is known for its blend of geography, culture, and commerce. Located in southern Gujarat, it has industrial estates, rich agricultural areas (notably Alphonso mango cultivation), popular beach destinations like Tithal Beach, and notable spiritual sites such as the Udvada Zoroastrian fire temple.
