Larsen & Toubro has secured an order from Torrent Power for the 3,000 MW Saidongar-1 pumped storage project in Maharashtra. 

The project is aimed at providing large-scale energy storage to support renewable power integration into the grid. 

Pumped storage projects are increasingly critical as India expands solar and wind capacity. 

L&T’s strong execution track record in hydro and complex civil works was a key factor in the order win. 

The project reinforces L&T’s position in India’s evolving energy infrastructure landscape.
