KPI Green Energy has received a significant boost to its project pipeline with the securing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL). 

The LOI, dated July 14, 2025, is for the development of a 150 MW grid-connected wind power project in Gujarat.

This substantial order was awarded to KPI Green Energy following its successful participation in a competitive bidding process initiated by GUVNL under the "Procurement of power through competitive bidding process vide RfS No. GUVNL / 250 MW / Wind (Phase IX)". The tender, originally floated on January 18, 2025, included a greenshoe option for an additional 250 MW, and a reverse e-auction was held on April 22, 2025. 

KPI Green Energy emerged as a successful bidder, securing a significant portion of the allocated capacity.

The formal Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for this project will be executed subsequent to receiving the necessary approval from the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC).
